FORD RESIDENCE - ANDOVER, MA

Reflecting the contemporary Tudor-esque character of the home, the solution balances the English homeowners’ requests for elegant, refined materials, details and craftsmanship, with the design and functional flexibility to comfortably accommodate elegant entertaining and the activities of two energetic young boys.

Through the use of interesting, unconventional column, cabinetry, fireplace, and circulation elements as both design details and spatial organizers, a mundane space was transformed into a noteworthy family gathering place. This project awarded 1st Place for best Kitchen Remodel in Qualified Remodeler magazine annual Design Awards.
